Here a grain of sand; a fifth and twelth or twenty before two billions.
In the wind, one or many; against the slope or concealing the road,
tumbling one over another, gathering and dispersing. First one
then another, then another and another. Another and more
back around to the first
...or is this the first? Perhaps it is the second, but all alike
and indifferent except to whatever differences made for themselves.
Not a one is unique; not a one unto itself, but a desert,
and to perceive one is to be a desert.
